Terra d’Oro

Translated as “Land of Gold,” Terra d’Oro receives its mother lode in the form of pristine grapes. The label pays tribute to its Italian heritage by generating fantastic traditional varieties.

Brand Story

For more than 150 years, fortune seekers have been lured to California’s rugged Sierra Foothills. Though they once came for the gold, these days they come for the wine—Terra d’Oro, to be more specific. Handcrafted from some of Amador County’s most historic vineyards, Terra d’Oro wines are rich indeed, full of the character and intensity that perfectly captures the essence of this “Land of Gold.”

With 400 acres of magnificent acres of estate vines—including several historic, old-vine vineyards—Terra d’Oro now produces delicious Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Chenin Viognier, Barbera, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and more. We’re incredibly fortunate to be part of the long history established here.
